The Glenelg Bowling Club Inc is a small friendly club that has;

• an increasing number of members
• a competitive focus on the green
• playing skills coachs to develop players’ skills and team strategies
• a good range of Pennant teams for advancement, including 3 Wednesday teams, 4 Saturday teams & 1 Thursday team
• a wide range of social activities throughout the year
• free loan bowls and instruction for new players
• a Tuesday social bowling program all year round
• a Saturday social bowling program during the non-Pennant season
• Night Owls on Wednesday night from October to March

While the Club was established in 1905, we have a progressive outlook and sound financial management procedures in order to be progressive.

The Club has a clear strategic plan and implementation program to make improvements for members.

If you want to learn to play bowls, we can provide instruction and coaching to help you become a competent social player or progress to Pennant competition if you wish.

If you already play Pennants, our playing coach and our formal practice sessions will assist in building skills and strategies for team competition.

The Club runs a number of tournaments throughout the year and a number of members form teams to go to tournaments run by other clubs.
